As the sun sets, discover a different side of the Garden on an evening expedition exploring the fascinating world of bats and other nocturnal flyers. Led by a Garden team member, you'll visit favorite bat habitats, learn how the Garden collaborates with Master Naturalists to monitor local bat populations, and gain insight into their fascinating behaviors and adaptations. The adventure concludes with a "mothing" station, where you’ll observe nocturnal insects up close and better understand the vital connection between bats and their prey. Cameras are encouraged, as you'll find plenty of inspiration while observing the wildlife that emerges after dark. Whether you're a longtime nature enthusiast or simply curious, this unique program offers a memorable look at the wonders of the night.
