Embark on a historical tradition of outdoor painting with guided lessons in the Garden’s tranquil morning light. Through guided exercises and individual practice, you’ll learn to capture the light and compositions using the spontaneity of watercolor. This class is suitable for both new painters and practiced watercolorists. Join us monthly to paint the changing seasons and explore new Garden areas.

Our gardens may appear to be resting, but our brushes will find the hidden gems awaiting in the Perennial Garden. This resilient collection of plants offer year-round foliage and even winter blooms. Its location tucked behind the Rose Garden offers plants and people shelter from winter’s chill. If frost finds us, we may retreat to interior environments where class shall persist.

Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before and after class!
