Embark on a historical tradition of outdoor painting with guided lessons in the Garden’s tranquil morning light. Through guided exercises and individual practice, you’ll learn to capture the light and compositions using the spontaneity of watercolor. This class is suitable for both new painters and practiced watercolorists. Join us monthly to paint the changing seasons and explore new Garden areas.

The oldest garden on the property, Rock Springs features scenic sandstone walkways and water features, recently restored to evoke the quiet beauty of the natural Texas landscape. 

This month’s class will be held on the second Saturday to avoid overlapping with the free admission day on September 19. We hope to see you there!

Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before and after class!
