Soils for Gardeners

DATE: Thursday 1/30/25   TIME: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Soil is the foundation for all plant growth and true success in gardening requires an understanding of what soil is and how it works. In this class, you will learn the basics about important processes that occur in soil, explore how those processes work and learn to apply this knowledge for greater success in your garden. Whether you’re interested in trees, shrubs, flowers or growing your own vegetables, you’ll acquire valuable tools to help grow better results. Join us to get all the dirt on soils! Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before class!
