Photographing the Monarch Migration

DATE: Saturday 10/12/24   TIME: 9:00am - 11:00am

Bring your camera to the Garden to capture the beauty of monarch butterflies as they pass through along a major migration corridor heading south for the winter. Local professional photographer Edgar Miller will provide expert tips on the best techniques and settings to snap great photographs of butterflies in their natural habitats and provide in-the-moment support as you seek out migrating monarchs and any other photogenic pollinators spotted along the way. You will leave with increased skills and confidence photographing these beautiful creatures in the Garden and beyond! Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before and after class!
