With step-by-step guidance, you will create your own homemade—that is, Garden-made—preserved foods during class. You will walk away with the knowledge, resources and inspiration to continue preserving food in your own kitchen. Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before class. 

Dive into the sweet world of homemade jams and water-bath canning! This Saturday morning class will provide everything you need to confidently create homemade jams to enjoy all year long.

Instructor:  Michelle Cappo is a Master Food Preserver, an Advanced Master Food Safety Advisor and a Master Wellness volunteer affiliated with TAMU’s AgriLife Extension Service in Tarrant County; she is passionate about teaching safe food preservation techniques.
