We’re open 7 days a week, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., last entry/admission at 5:00 p.m. daily. Our Tropical Conservatory is temporarily closed after a successful Butterflies in the Garden exhibit. We expect to open it on May 17th.

We’re open 7 days a week, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., last entry/admission at 5:00 p.m. daily.

Our Tropical Conservatory is temporarily closed after a successful Butterflies in the Garden exhibit. We expect to open it on May 17th.

The last admission was sold one hour before closing. The last photography pass will be sold at 4 p.m. to allow a full two hours. Please heed safety tips by staying hydrated and pacing yourself while outdoors.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden is a living museum. Please enjoy its beauty and leave it in the condition you found it.

For Your Safety, Please Adhere to the Following Rules:

  • Remain on designated paths, not walking through flower beds or foliage.
  • Refrain from climbing trees and garden structures and from wading in ponds, fountains, and other water features.
  • Only service animals are permitted in the Garden – please leave all other animals at home. Animals are not allowed to stay in unattended vehicles. We do have special days on the weekends periodically through the year where we allow Dogs to attend the garden with their humans. Keep an eye out on our calendar for the next Dog Days in the Garden event. 
  • Active sports (Frisbee, ball playing, kite flying, biking, etc.) are not allowed. The bike rack located at the Garden Center is for those who arrive via bicycle.
  • As of August 6, 2021, picnics areallowed with certain guidelines. Click here for more information.
  • Balloons, rice, confetti, flower petals, glitter, sparklers, smoke bombs, and other loose materials are not allowed.
  • Drones or any other form of UAV are not permitted.
  • Amateur landscape photography is welcomed, but should not interfere with other guests’ experiences. To learn more about our photography policies, please visit our photography page.
  • To keep the Garden as accessible as possible, unauthorized group events (weddings, memorials, classes, etc.) or gatherings are not allowed. For information on scheduling a wedding or event, click here.
  • As of July 2019, no vehicular traffic is allowed through the Garden.
In addition, please:
  • Do not collect any plants, animals, or rocks.
  • Respect the experience of all visitors and refrain from obstructing paths, bridges, and walkways. 
  • Do not touch or chase any animals, including insects. We want all wildlife to feel safe and to continue residing here. 
  • For your own safety, do not enter a barricaded area or an area posted for pesticide application.
  • Do not tamper with water hoses, equipment, tools, or signs.
  • Be respectful of weddings and other scheduled events.

We recommend you wear sturdy walking shoes, bottled water, and to protect yourself from the sun. We look forward to seeing you in the Garden!

YOU ASSUME ALL RISK AND DANGER OF INJURY AND YOU AGREE THAT THE MANAGEMENT, ITS AGENTS, AND THE PERFORMERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES RESULTING FROM SUCH CAUSES. NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS, WEAPONS, FOOD, OR GLASS CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED. YOU FURTHER CONSENT TO THE USE OF YOUR IMAGE OR LIKENESS INCIDENTAL TO ANY DISPLAY, TRANSMISSION, OR REPRODUCTION OF THE EVENT. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ADMISSION OR EJECT ANY PERSON WHOSE CONDUCT IS DEEMED BY MANAGEMENT TO BE DISORDERLY OR WHO FAILS TO COMPLY WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HEREIN. IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION FOR WHICH THERE IS NO RESCHEDULED DATE, A REFUND FOR THIS TICKET MAY BE ISSUED AT THE OPTION OF THE MANAGEMENT AND MAY NOT INCLUDE ADDITIONAL TICKETING FEES (I.E., TICKETING OPERATIONS FEE, SHIPPING FEES, ETC.).

If you cannot use your tickets, we will process them as a tax-deductible contribution to Fort Worth Botanic Garden/BRIT. All donations will be acknowledged with a receipt via the email on file. We do not offer refunds for unused tickets—Fort Worth Botanic Garden honors discounts on our website only.
