Experience the Wonder of Butterflies in the Garden

Come and see the most amazing display of live, exotic butterflies in north central Texas at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. From March 1, 2024, to April 14, 2024, you can visit the Rainforest Conservatory every day and see hundreds of colorful butterflies from all over the world. You’ll also learn about their incredible life cycle and see some of the local species that live in Texas.

Ticket Information

• Tickets are available for timed entrance, every 30 minutes.
• Admission to the Butterfly Exhibit only is $12 for adults (16-64), $10 for seniors (65+), $8 for children (6-15), and free for children under 5.
• Admission to the Garden and Butterfly Exhibit (COMBO), which includes access to Dinosaurs around the World, is $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $12 for children (6-15).
• School groups can purchase tickets in advance by contacting the education department.
• Groups of 20 or more can get $2 off each ticket type online.

  Tips for a Fun and Safe Visit to Butterflies in the Garden

We’re so glad you’re here to enjoy our amazing exhibit of live, exotic butterflies. We want you to have the best time possible, so please help us keep the butterflies and the plants happy and healthy by following these simple rules:

• Be gentle with the butterflies and the plants. They are very delicate and touching them can hurt them. It is important to note that removing butterflies and plants from the Rainforest Conservatory is strictly prohibited under USDA regulations, we respectfully insist that all guests respect our guidelines.
• Use your phone or camera to capture the beauty of the butterflies. Please leave your tripods, monopods, or selfie sticks at home or in your car.
• Follow the path and the signs. They will guide you through the Conservatory and show you where to go and what to see.
• Respect the Conservatory and everything in it. Please don’t climb on or take anything from the Conservatory. It’s a special place for the butterflies and the plants.
• Leave your food, drinks, coats, and strollers outside. We have a self-check-in area where you can store them safely. This will make your visit more comfortable and prevent any accidents or spills.
• Bring your certified service animal only. We love all animals, but only service animals are allowed inside the Conservatory. We request that you leave all other animals at home as they are not allowed inside the Conservatory, nor can they be left in unattended vehicles.
• No refunds. We hope you enjoy your visit, but if you need to change your date, please email us and we’ll try to accommodate you.
