Details

Forest Bathing, or shinrin-yoku, is the deliberate practice of immersion in nature using mindfulness and the senses. This practice originated in Japan and allows the body, mind, and spirit to relax and rejuvenate surrounded by the healing powers of nature. We begin the class by discussing the guiding principles of shinrin-yoku that enable us to soak up the natural world around us; then each guest will enjoy individual time practicing their Forest Bathing in the serenity of the Japanese Garden before reconvening to share experiences. Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before and after class.

Second Saturdays (9:00-10:00am)

Registration closes Wednesday preceding each class.

$20/Adult or $15/Member Adult
