This monthly therapeutic horticulture class for adult seniors offers a supportive, relaxed environment to connect with nature and peers in meaningful and restorative ways. You’ll get hands-on with seasonal, sensory-based nature activities such as planting, nature art, or sensory exploration, guided by a trained facilitator. Each experience is designed to promote relaxation, creativity, and social connection while working with plants and natural materials at a comfortable pace. No prior gardening experience is needed.

This month, create a journal collage using dried pressed plants. Your new journal can be used for observations in nature, journaling, and other self-expression.

Registration includes Garden admission for the day—we encourage you to explore the Garden before and after class!
